The Kazakhstani rifler joins deko on Aurora’s bench after their RMR failure.

Aurora have made Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev inactive in the wake of their 12-14th place finish at the European RMR.
The move puts the roster down to three after Denis “deko” Zhukov benched himself to take a break from competition.
Lack1, a supportive element and former in-game leader, has been with Aurora as a founding member since August 2022 but did not make it to a single Big Event.
That includes the Majors, with Lack1 failing to add to his single Major appearance with Entropiq at Stockholm despite some success online with young talent such as deko and Evgeny “r3salt” Frolov.
A particularly poor Shanghai RMR for Lack1 has dealt the killing blow, after he recorded a 0.76 rating in what has become his final event with the team.
*Update 23:00 : Aurora have also announced the promotion of former Virtus.pro man Andrey “Xoma” Mironenko to head coach, replacing Stepan “brain” Sivoronov.
Aurora are now:
Russia Timur “clax” Sabirov
Russia Aleksandr “KENSI” Gurkin
Russia Evgeny “Norwi” Ermolin
Russia Andrey “Xoma” Mironenko (coach)
Kazakhstan Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev (benched)
Russia Denis “deko” Zhukov (benched)
