TSM’s Danish team is in trouble weeks after they released their women’s roster.
Update 17:47 : Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss has announced that he has also been benched, while coach Allan “Rejin” Petersen has been released.
Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand has been made available for transfer by TSM after six months with the American organization.
In a statement on X, the Danish AWPer said that “budget reasons” were behind his benching.
He also pointed to a “weird start” in the summer after TSM’s pursuit of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke and Benjamin “blameF” Bremer fell apart and the latter’s decision to join fnatic.
TSM did make the RMR despite having “no time to practice,” but had a rough time in Shanghai and went home with just a solitary win over PARIVISION.
“After the benching of Altekz it took a long time to get back on track with sirah,” acoR reflected. “It did feel like we were getting back on track in the end, but it is what it is.”
TSM also released their TSM Impact squad in December, and are now down to three players in their main lineup:
Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen
William “sirah” Kjærsgaard
Allan “Rejin” Petersen (released)
Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss (benched)
Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand (benched)
