CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19 teams announced

Teams like NIP, PARIVISION and BC.Game will begin their campaigns in the closed qualifier.

BIG will serve as the highest-ranked team in attendance

CCT has announced the invites for CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19, with 16 teams lined up to contest the closed qualifier, 12 receiving group stage invites, and eight earning berths for the playoffs. All teams were invited via the Europe VRS, bar Ninjas in Pyjamas, who received a wildcard invite.

The closed qualifier, due to kick off February 19, will see four GSL-style BO3 groups play out, with the top two teams from each group progressing to a qualification BO3 to decide the four teams headed to the group stage.

The group stage will see 16 teams contest in a Swiss-style BO3 system, with the top eight teams qualifying for the playoffs. There, a single-elimination BO3 bracket will take over to decide the eventual winner.

Plenty of high-profile names are set to contest each stage. PARIVISION and BC.Game will be strong favorites to make it through the closed qualifier amidst good runs of form, 500 head into the group stage off the back of a win in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 17, whilst tier-one regulars BIG are set for a playoff appearance.
