CS2 Season Transition

We bid farewell to Season One of CS Official Matchmaking and welcome Season Two. To celebrate this moment, every player who earned a CS overall score in Season One will receive a Season One commemorative medal. Your medal includes detailed season statistics, which you can view by clicking on the medal in your inventory. You can track the changes in your CSR and playtime through the medal, or check specific map statistics to identify areas for improvement for the second season.

As we transition to Season Two, your CS overall score will be recalibrated for the new season based on your performance in Season One. At the start of the new season, you will need to establish your CS overall score again by winning 10 matches.

Season Two brings some changes. Train has been added to the competitive map pool, Vertigo has been removed, the price of the M4A4 has decreased, and the standing and crouching accuracy of the FAMAS has improved (along with a price reduction).

Season Two will conclude after the Austin Major, and eligible players can earn the Season Two medal. The color of the medal depends on your highest CS overall score achieved this season, with segments representing your wins; every 25 wins lights up one segment, up to a maximum of five.

To earn the “Season Two Priority Mode Medal,” you need to maintain a good standing on your game account, achieve 25 wins in priority mode, and have a valid CS overall score at the end of the season.

Clear your schedule, as Season Two is about to begin!
