The second season of the in-game matchmaking service comes alongside tweaks to the M4A4 and FAMAS.

Valve has announced Season Two of Premier, the in-game matchmaking client introduced at the release of CS2, which is set to begin next week and conclude following the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June. The CS2 developer also announced an M4A4 price reduction and changes to the FAMAS to accompany the update.
The M4A4 will be $2900 following the update, now the same price as its silenced counter-part. Valve had previously brought the price of the M4A4 down to $3000 from $3100 in May 2024.
In addition to the M4A4 changes, Valve also stated that the FAMAS would be receiving some attention, namely “improvements to its standing and crouching accuracy (along with a price cut).”
Outside of the gameplay-oriented changes, Valve also showcased a Premier Season Two Medal that players can earn based on their final rank and total wins at the end of the season.
