Lucaozy’s Shanghai sticker replaced by brnz4n’s in latest update

Perfect World’s clerical error has been fixed by Valve, while Overpass’ Heaven area gets a rework.

Lucaozy’s sticker has been removed

Valve have released a small update to Counter-Strike 2 that confirms the replacement of MIBR rifler Lucas “⁠Lucaozy⁠” Neves’s sticker with that of Breno “⁠brnz4n⁠” Poletto, in line with their rules around in-game items for substitute players. You can see the new sticker here.

Now brnz4n, like other substitutes Andreas “⁠aNdu⁠” Maasing, Aurélien “⁠afro⁠” Drapier, and Ilya “⁠Perfecto⁠” Zalutskiy, have stickers for the upcoming Major as part of Valve’s rules to disincentivize late roster moves.

The update also adjusts the new damage prediction feature, where unconfirmed predictions will now be reverted.

Small changes have also been made to four off-duty maps, with the most notable change being made to Overpass’ Heaven area that restricts the view from the bottom of Bank down to B.

– Updated MIBR player sticker items autographed by Lucaozy with the autographs of brnz4n.
– Fixed a UI bug that allowed dropping Pick’Em team logos outside of Major Pick’Em hub using both mouse buttons.
– Pick’Em challenge picks can now be placed for the upcoming Elimination Stage of Shanghai Major.

[ DAMAGE PREDICTION ]
– Predicted ragdolls without a confirmation or correction from the server within a short time window will now revert.

[ MAPS ]

– Train: Increased collision fidelity of several models
– Overpass: Replaced railing inside Heaven with a wall; Additional visibility improvements in Heaven
– Edin: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop (Update Notes)
– Palais: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop (Update Notes)

[ MISC ]
– Fixed ‘boost player contrast’ visibility rendering option sometimes revealing parts of players or weapons through thin surfaces.
– Added r_allow_low_gpu_memory_mode setting to allow running CS2 Workshop Tools in low memory GPU conditions.
– Fixed various bugs in Hammer.
