With the conclusion of Spirit’s high-stakes clash with FaZe in the grand final of the Perfect World Shanghai Major, star rifler and Major MVP Danil “⁠donk⁠” Kryshkovets has broken the record for most aces at a Major.

donk, who racked up four aces en route to his team’s victory in Shanghai, surpasses the previous record held for nearly six years by Egor “⁠flamie⁠” Vasilyev, who had three aces to his name at IEM Katowice 2019 when he played under the banner of Natus Vincere.

While donk lays sole claim to the record for most aces at a Major, he now shares the title for most aces at a Big Event with Oleksandr “⁠s1mple⁠” Kostyliev, who secured four aces of his own to help Natus Vincere hoist the trophy at IEM Cologne 2021.
